The archive service, in relation to placing items on hold or the application of tags (needs review/reviewed) as well as the removal of any asset on either of these features runs on a first in the queue / first processed.
A typical experience will be that the items you are placing on hold/tagging will complete whilst you are using the application online in near real time, depending on the number of items submitted for processing. Once completed, you'll see a banner at the top of the page appear, like the example below.
However, in circumstances where extremely high volumes of requests are being submitted, the page may appear to hang after trying to place items on hold or mark them with a tag. In reality, your request has been queued for processing.
Should an event like this happen, it is safe to exit your search and, if you wish, to re-run the saved search and continue to work with your results.
Your request to place items on hold or to place a tag will complete in due course.
It is advised not to attempt to duplicate the request. If in doubt, please contact Support from your service provider to review.
