Obtaining a saved Search ID for a bulk export request

There may be instances where you will issue a managed service request to perform a bulk export a set of data from your Archive account, to your Archive Service Provider *.  

In doing so, they will need to know the data that needs to be exported, this is managed by you creating a search, that is saved.  Once the search has been saved, you will be able to obtain the unique Search ID of that search in the browsers URL window.  Please copy and supply the full URL.

An example:

 We shall also need to the know the number of results, per search as well, this will facilitate the ability for your service provider to issue an estimate of the volume in GB the amount of data that will likely be exported, based on the number of results.  We perform a crude calculation in the following way:

• Total volume of the data stored uncompressed (divided by) Total number of items in the archive.
• This gives us an average storage value of every message stored in the archive that we will use to provide a cost estimate for the Bulk Export service.

* Charges are usually applicable for all bulk export request. Your Service provider will be able to advise you of any associated costs.
